Informing Clinical Care with Data: Humotech’s Next Chapter 

Humotech was founded at the intersection of biomechanics research, wearable robotics engineering, and a dream to advance human mobility. Since our earliest days, we have been focused on providing a platform to support rigorous, data-driven experiments that help us better understand how people move and how assistive technologies like prosthetics, orthotics, and exoskeletons can enhance that movement. 

Today, that work has advanced to the next chapter. 

We’re introducing the Clinical Caplex® System, extending our work from the research lab and into clinical environments—supporting patients, prosthetists, and anyone weighing the effects of different prosthetic foot options with evidence to inform clinical care decision. 

This transition reflects a broader shift in who we are as a company: an outcomes data partner for healthcare organizations making life-changing decisions.

As Humotech’s technology moves into clinical care settings, we are expanding our commitment to excellence in everything that we do. 

Supporting clinical care effectively requires more than a well-functioning technology platform. It requires timeliness, clarity, consistency, and trust.

Through over a decade of clinical research, we’ve carefully demonstrated that our core technology works. Now, through partnerships with clinicians and healthcare organizations we are demonstrating how the technology can be used to generate data that: 

• Supports more evidence-based prosthetic foot selections  

• Improves patients’ satisfaction with their prosthesis 

• Contributes evidence to strengthen claims for reimbursement
