Victoria has been the Controller and CFO for small to midsized manufacturing, construction, and SaaS businesses. She has a Masters of Professional Accountancy and a BBA.
Executives need the best information possible to make good business decisions and the day-to-day operations of their accounting department is what drives the financial data. Having streamlined processes and capturing financial activity correctly is key to having the best data possible.
She thrives with a challenging puzzle and loves when clients learn how powerful of a tool their financial statements can be.
She detests taxes and loves all CPAs that do taxes so she doesn’t have to.

Josh began his PhD research asking, “Can we use robotics to create a better prosthetic foot?” Which quickly became, “How do we actually improve the world to enhance quality of life for people with mobility impairments?” Josh realized that in order to answer this much broader question required imagining a new approach to design, one that didn’t rely on traditional trial-and-error prototyping. That led to the creation of Humotech and the Caplex system. Josh founded Humotech in 2015 as a spin-off from research based on his PhD thesis work in the Experimental Biomechatronics Laboratory (directed by Steve Collins) at Carnegie Mellon University.
