The BCK-001 is a portable version of our full-sized Caplex system, designed to be worn as a backpack or set up on a benchtop. It consolidates a 2-axis Actuator Unit (ACT-002) and Control System into a single integrated package, including a Windows Host PC (HPC-002), which runs the graphical user interface and MATLAB/Simulink programming interface; a real-time controller (RTS-002); and an I/O unit (IOB-005) to interface with Caplex or other hardware. It uses the same standard electrical and mechanical interfaces as our full-sized Caplex system for actuation of Humotech (or other cable-actuated) end-effectors. It is designed to be used inside or outside of the lab with single-phase AC wall power or DC battery power.
