The Control System is one of the two off-board components that make up a full-sized Caplex system. It includes a Windows Host PC (HPC-001), which runs the graphical user interface and MATLAB/Simulink programming interface; a real-time controller (RTS-001); and an I/O unit (IOB-003) to interface with Caplex or other Actuator Units and end-effectors. The Control System is designed for use inside of a lab on a computer rack or benchtop and powered by single-phase AC wall power.
